WHIPPET Dogs
This descendant of the Greyhound with some Terrier blood originated in the north of England as a hound and racing dog.
GENERAL Dog DESCRIPTION
Don't let yourself be fooled by its fragile aspect; its accelerations are really excessive for a dog of its size and its speed almost reaches the Greyhound's. Clean and with good manners, it is a great company dog, even capable to live with a cat, but you shouldn't expect it not to follow others.
Brave and vigorous in open land, it needs a lot of physical exercise, but it also enjoys home. It thanks the families and stranger's attentions, but it can get really nervous if it lives with hyperactive children.
PHYSICAL Dog ASPECT
It is enough with quickly brushing its short and not very thick coat to keep it clean with almost no effort. Any color or mixture is allow, but it is normally beige, spotted, blue or black with some white. Long tail that narrows to the tip slightly curved.
Very shapely feet with thick pads. Dark and rounded eyes, little ears in pink, turned backwards. Extremely thin body, with a deep chest to give some room for the heart.
