SUSSEX SPANIEL Puppy Dogs
Originated in the English county of Sussex, where it was used as an under cover hunting dog. It was about to get extinguished by the beginning of the XX century, but it is currently getting popular.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Despite its excessively placid aspect, it is as vigorous and energetic as it corresponds to a Spaniel and as such, it needs a lot of physical exercise. It is caring, intimate, and crafty and barks a lot. It usually gets along well with everyone, even children, cats and other dogs.
It tends to be the dog of only one owner, getting really close to one family member in special. Due to its dense hair, it is not adequate to live in wet climates, unless you regularly cut its hair.
PHYSICAL ASPECT
Abundant and straight hair of a characteristic liver color. Very big eyes, hazel in color, lobed ears and also very big. The tail should never be higher than the back line. Rounded feet with lots of fringes between the fingers. It should have the chest and also the last ribs deep.
