So that the smell of the female in zeal is less perceptible for the male dog, there is a physiologic canine repellent, that is to say, products with the help of chlorophyll, for oral or external use that will erase the point of attraction of the female dog in zeal. 

To avoid in a definitive way that the female dog gets pregnant, there is a surgical intervention, tying the ovarian conduits. But this intervention should be carried out around the fifth or six months of age, before the appearance of the first zeal. 

If it was not possible to avoid that a crossbreed dog got pregnant there is two solutions: we find a home for them when the mother is still in the period of gestation, looking for a home for the puppies in the house of a friend that won't mind crossbreed dog, or we have to suppress them in a quick and painless way. 

It will be necessary to speak with the veterinarian; he will give a lethal injection to the puppies. And, if we take the decision of suppressing the puppies, it suits to do it immediately after the birth, when they have not opened the eyes. It will be better to conserve at least, one, in remember of their less fortunate siblings', and he will help the mother, consuming the milk that will take place anyway.
