Aggressiveness for control
 We will speak of a dog that is aggressive for domain over people when the reason of the aggressiveness is that the dog considered him self dominant-and sees the person like subordinate -. 

 It is the most frequent type of aggressiveness and it is generally manifested in concrete situations as: when playing or grabbing his food or his objects, when bothering it or when we punish him, looking at him directly into the eyes ( visual contact) , etc. 

The causes of apparent aggression can be: 

• The dog looks for control inside a hierarchy. 
• During the socialization stage, and due to competition situations between dog and man, it is when this hierarchy settles down. 
• There can exists genetic and hormonal factors. 
• We will differentiate it of other types of aggressiveness: 
• Aggressiveness by organic cause: it will be due to pain, epilepsy psychomotor,  hydrocephalus, hypothyroidism. 
• Defensive aggressiveness or by fear, will adopt a typical posture: tail among the legs, ears back. 
• Maternal Aggressiveness, if the dog has puppies or a false gestation. 
• Redirected aggressiveness, an example would be when the owner tries to separate him from a fight with another dog.
• Territorial aggressiveness: will only be directed to strangers that dawn its territory. 

Possible treatments
If the dog is a male, the castration can diminish the aggressiveness. But if it is a female, the sterilization it is contraindicated. 

It will be necessary to invert the domain relationship among dog-person. It will have to be this same person who makes a negative reinforcement of the aggressive behavior. 

To punish him can be dangerous because it can unchain his aggressiveness. If it is necessary to do it, before you need to begin with a medical treatment or using a special necklace to punish him at distance.  

We will establish a clear domain relationship with the dog, mainly during the socialization stage.
