As soon as they open their little ears,
the puppies begin to react to sounds, even though they can not clearly see until they are about four weeks old. They try to follow the light and the object movements with their eyes. The puppies usually begin to move with certain fluency when they are about three weeks old, walking instead of dragging. They alternate short periods of activity with long periods in which they sleep profoundly. |
