MINIATURE PINSCHER

Created in Germany having short hair Pinscher as a starting line. It was officially recognized in 1895 and began to extend over other countries on the 20's. It is called Reh Pinscher in Germany (Corsican Pinscher) due to its similarity with this animal. It was created thinking of contests and expositions; it is popular around the world.

 GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Even when it is not closely related to the Doberman Pinscher, it looks very similar, except for the size. Smart and with a very fine sense of hearing, it is a great guardian dog. It loves barking. Proud and great hunter, it likes chasing. It learns fast and it can be obedient if it gets adequate training.

 PHYSICAL ASPECT

Short and shiny coat, black, blue or chocolate in color with fire spots on the cheeks. Black eyes slightly wide-open. Small ears, placed high that can be hanging or straight. Raised tail, frequently surgically cut. Short feet with dark nails. Deep ribs and well-developed rear quarters. Straight back, slightly descendent to the tip.
