Keeshond Puppies & Dogs
Native of Holland, where it used to live in farm houses as well as in ships and houses, it probably owes its name to a patriot called Kees, considered a symbol of the Dutch resistance during the XVII and XVIII centuries. It seems to be that it descends from the primitive Spitz dogs as the Wolf Spitz, but its ancestors haven't been identified yet.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Sharp and clear-sighted guardian dog with a very fine sense of hearing and very loud alert barking. It learns fast and answers greatly to training. It is necessary to protect it from the heat.

PHYSICAL ASPECT
Straight and rough hair, a mixture of gray and black. Almond dark eyes with characteristic spots. Dark and straight ears. The tail is black by the tip and totally turns and falls on its back. Rounded cat feet with black nails. Short, robust and squared body with strong and muscular rear quarters.
