IRISH SETTER Dogs
Originally bred to track preys that were then retrieved by smaller Spaniels, it progressively stopped interesting hunters when the use of other breeds that fulfilled a double function was extended (show and retrieving dogs at the same time). Nowadays it is basically a company dog.
GENERAL Dog DESCRIPTION
This beautiful and athletic animal joints an unrestrainedly energy and very strong tracing instinct, so the daily walk will not always be totally quiet. Affectionate and pleasant, it can be hard to train, not because it is not intelligent as some people think by mistake, but because its hunting instinct is so deep-rooted that sometimes it is difficult to control.
PHYSICAL Dog ASPECT
Very bright, light brown hair, sometimes with some white spots. The hair that covers its head, the front side of the paws and the tip of the ears is thin and short.
The rest of the body is covered by longer and straighter hair, with some fringes. The eyes go from hazel to dark brown.
The ears are placed low and very backwards. The tail goes right under the back line and lined with it. Small feet, with strong fingers, very arched and joint. dog t shirt
Deep, but narrowed chest, with arched and prominent ribs.
