From Three to Six Months

Until the dog doesn't turn six months, it can suffer big back payments in the growth for the fact of stopping to eat during a couple of days, for that reason, until he doesn't reach the seventh month of age, a strict control on the feeding should be taken.

As the puppy goes growing we are going to add more variety of different foods; starting from the fourth or fifth month we will included vegetables, such as boiled beets, spinach's, etc. blended with the rest of the food they provided him an appetizing plate. It is not convenient that the dogs take their foods with lots of salt. The same thing happens with the sugar that although it is necessary in certain proportion, neither it is convenient to abuse of the one. Starting from five months, at mid-day, next to the food, we will give the puppy a spoonful of cod liver oil, they usually like a lot and it is a restorative one very powerful. If there are not contraindications on the part of the doctor that assists him, it can be continued until the year, we can alternative each two or three weeks and stop one to make this until the end of the treatment.

We should always have in mind not to let the dog get close to other sick or simply careless dogs, since having bad companies the only thing that will bring is all classes of parasites, from the fleas until the ticks.

 In spite that, the dog, when he is four or five months, he has an aspect of very superior robustness to that of other animals, not for that reason we will subject to long walks, since he would detriment their balanced of development we should have the caution, after a long day in the field, after playing with children or other dogs during several hours, when arriving home, if he is frankly out, before giving him his food, we should allow it to rest during at least a couple of hours, then we can provide him what we have for habit according to the hour, and subsequently, without nobody bother him, we will allow him to sleep peacefully until the following morning; as maximum after the dinner, we will taken him out an instant to the garden so that he makes their necessities, or out to the street, followed act we accompanied to its bed.

 Let us invite all the members of the house to love the dog and play with him, but we should also inculcate to all that it is very important to keep in mind all these particulars details to be able to have the day of tomorrow's, a docile, strong and balanced dog. 

Starting from the fourth month a very important period begins in the life of the puppy, it is the change of teeth, the milk teeth fall and the new ones grow, those that during a lifetime will have to be good for him to chew certain bones.

It is not in any criticizable case that certain people don't decide the acquisition of the puppy until he has four or five months; thinking that the dog, of five months, will miss their siblings, it is a false interpretation. The conscious breeder doesn't cohabit with the dogs that he plans to sell, when one acquires a puppy of six or eight months, if it was a puppy dedicated for sale, he has not still had his first owner and the acclimatization is almost immediate as the cases in that it is dogs of two months.
