Famous Dogs, Famous Peoples's Dogs
From the very first moment they installed themselves close to humans, dogs began to be part of our lives. First of all, they were the human's guardians. Soon, they began to accompany hunters and look after the flock. Then, many other duties came along: shooting dogs, sleigh and carriage pulling dogs, military dogs, police dogs and finally, rescue dogs, guide dogs and social service dogs. Many of them became part of history because of their braveness and loyalty of for starting unusual adventures in their species. Many of them were not famous or part of history because of the things they did but for being inseparable partners of very famous people. However, it was dogs like landmarks that reflect the trajectory of the history on western civilization. cute dog clothes

AGAINST THE ELEMENTS
In June 1910, a Norwegian called Ronald Amundsen (1972 – 1928) left Norway with the firm decision of getting to the South Pole before anyone else. He knew of a similar British expedition, directed by Robert Falcon Scott, was on its way. The race to the Pole got everybody's attention in Europe. Amundsen could get to the Pole first, in 1911, a month earlier than the British, in some part because his route was shorter and in part because he had planned every single detail (as the use of dog as sleigh's pullers and later on, on the way back home, as food). It became famous for humanity with which he treated the dogs. In fact, he included them on the expeditions as specialized guardians and trainers.
