ENGLISH TOY TERRIER Puppies & Dogs

ENGLISH TOY TERRIER

Even when the small Terriers already existed in the XV century, this breed comes from the 1880's, when it was used as a buzzard dog. It was also used to make foxes come out of their hideouts.

 GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The name perfectly defines these dogs, as tiny as if they were toys, but also brave and robust as it can be expected from a Terrier. Very deep-rooted buzzard instinct. They can't resist much heat because it can cause them eruptions in the skin and they can't resist the cold weathers either because of their almost lack of hair. Loyal and much attached to their masters, they can be distrustful with the strangers.

Always alert, clear-sighted and observing, they seem to feel the mood of their masters. Lively and intelligent, they are good family pets.
