Dog Tags & IDENTIFICATION

IDENTIFICATION by Dog Tags

For security reasons, as soon as a dog learns to go out to the street, it should be properly identified. In some countries, it is prohibited for the dog to go out without a lead and an identification plaque attached to it;

in others, it is mandatory to identify them through a tattoo and some of them, through a microchip, a very little chip that is inserted under the dog's skin as an injection. These last two methods, totally indelible and painless, will provide the animal a numerical code that can not be repeated on any other dog and that is read using a special scanner available in the veterinary clinics and canine shelters.
