PRACTICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Have you already decided to breed your own litter? In this case, you should plan certain practical issues. Where are the puppies going to be born and bred? The home itself is an ideal environment, rich of stimulus the puppies should get used to as soon as possible.
Do you have enough time to take care of the puppies? Some female dogs need help to breed and someone to give the feeding bottle to the puppies every few hours. Even if the mother can breast-feed the puppies without help, the weaning has to be started between four or five weeks after the delivery and it requires time, money and many hours of house cleaning. |

HEREDITARY PROBLEMS with your dogs Many breed dogs (specially the one with pedigree) suffer from hereditary malformations, most of the detectable through tests. Before the mating, it is essential to have the future parents checked and not to go on if both of them are not declared free of defects.
