BORDER COLLIE Puppy Dogs

BORDER COLLIE

The weird border allowed the counties of the borderlines between Scotland and England in which these dogs were used to Shepherd sheep. The Border Collie works silently, approaching the flock with the highest possible discretion and secrecy to the flock when the cattle owner indicated so by signs and later on, forcing it to walk as soon as the master ordered it.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Shepherd dogs should have a clear conscious of their predator nature to be capable to respect the flock. In their case, the natural hunting instincts were reoriented, turning into pasture instincts. The Border Collie needs to have constant stimulating activities, otherwise they can be destructive or present conduct problems. Thanks to their unstoppable energy and their intelligence, they learn fast and there is nothing they like more than practicing games that oblige them to use their intelligence. They can be faithful and loyal as pets. petzorb
