BERNES MOUNTAIN DOGS
Multifunction farm dog also used by weavers of Berne (Sweden) as a shooting dog. It is believes that it proceeds from the mixture between the bareness shepherds and the Mastiff taken to Sweden by the Romans about two thousand years ago.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Kind and sweet by nature, it is a given company dog, intelligent, normally easy to train. It is usually loyal, vigilant and good game partner for children. It tends to the obesity, so you have to carefully watch its diet. The thickness of its coat makes it feel uncomfortable when it is too hot.
PHYSICAL ASPECT
Long, curly, thick coat that should shine in a natural way. You will need to regularly brush the parts of the body that are covered by longer hair. It is black as ink with reddish brown spots on the cheeks, eyes, paws and chest. Almond eyes, dark brown in color that reflects the kindness of its heart. Triangle ears plead high; straighten when the dog is alert. Relatively small feet, rounded and compact. Long body and wide chest. It walks giving long steps.PRACTICAL DATA
