BEARDED COLLIE
This is the Scottish High Lands farmers' old friend; it is so intelligent that it used to lead, with almost no supervision, the cows to the market, along many kilometers. Even when it is mainly used as a pet nowadays, it still needs stimulus to use its talent.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
It abundant hair can be really attractive, but keeping the good aspect is really difficult because it tends to get really dirty. During the first two year, it needs to be more intensively brushed because it is then when the exterior coat is growing. Bred for hard work, it got beneficiated from natural selection, so it is absolutely now. If it gets bored it can be noisy and make evil things, but it is usually sweet and very well educated.
PHYSICAL ASPECT
Inclemency proved and hard exterior hair. It can be black, brown, fawn or blue in color with the typical Collie spots of tricolor.
The puppies are always born dark, but their hair lights up with the time most of the time and they keep on changing color for their whole lives. Big, sweet eyes, with an intense look, matching the color of the coat. The ears are slightly straightened at the base when the dog is alert. Long tail, oval feet with good pads. Thoraxes box on the shape of an inverted pear.
