The best hour is the evening, so that it can spend the night inside the warm house. Is it necessary to take a bath in winter? Certainly, but only once a month; in summer we can give him with more frequency. To avoid excessive bath and to have, at the same time, the security that the dog is under good conditions of hygiene we can used, from time to time, dry shampoos that are sold in specialized stores; anyway it doesn't suit to appeal to this system with too much frequency. 

All dogs, those of short hair and those of long hair, they should be brushed daily with a brush of hard sows; we can also used a brush one of those that are used for the cleaning of the house that makes a good massage. But this it is even more necessary in the animals with long hair. In all cities there are canine hairdressers where they will give them a bath and they cut the hair of the dogs and where, they carried out other small and indispensable hygienic cares. 

It is necessary, in the first place, to examine with certain frequency the eyes of the dog. If at first sight they appear not so clean, if they are red, it will be necessary to pass them a piece of wet cotton in tepid water and well drained. It is necessary to always pass them from the high of the eye toward the muzzle and use a different piece of cotton for each eye. 

The eyes show easily if they need a cleaning, but the ears hide the dirt to the human eye; is necessary to clean them periodically. The easiest system consists on to roll a piece of cotton in the index finger and to introduce it carefully in the ear with a circular movement so that it can clean it. We can wet the cotton with some alcohol (it is necessary to squeeze it very well) but not in water; if some alcohol is left inside the ear would evaporate quickly but a drop of water could carry serious problems, given the complex anatomy of the ear of the dog.
