BASENJI Puppy Dogs
It comes from Africa, where it is still used to pounce and raise prey. It is sometimes called "deaf African dog" because it can't bark, but it makes a sound that reminds the most characteristic Tyrolese singing.
GENERAL Dog DESCRIPTION
Among many other aspects, the Basenji doesn't really look like a dog; it cleans itself as a cat would do, it has no smell and the female normally has only one heat per year. Muscular, agile, playful and with sense of humor, it can be an excellent company dog as long it is kept busy, when feeling bored or unhappy, it can develop destructive conducts so it needs regular and intense stimulus and exercise.
Dog PHYSICAL ASPECT
Short, straight and shiny hair with black, fire and red color, always with white spots in hands and feet, the chest and the tip of the tail. Almond like dark eyes, Very pointy, straight and forwarded ears. When it sharpens the ear, it frowns, at the same time that it straights the ears, showing an unmistakable perplexity aspect. Its tail is also unmistakable, placed very high; it forms a tight curl over the kidney. Short and straight back, with a very marked waist. It walks with its head in a very upright position and a nice appearance on its little and compact feet. Dog Collars & Dog Toys
