AUSTRALIAN TERRIER
Australian farm dog that proceeds from diverse British Terrier breeds. Hunts any little vermin, including rats and snakes. Very efficient as a guardian, it has been extended all over the world as a working dog and a company animal.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This dog doesn't bark more than the absolutely necessary, but it doesn't doubt doing it if it has to. Sure of it and smart, it is usually easy to get along with.
It gets well adapted either on a rural or an urban environment. It is friendly, sincere and indulgent. As a pet, it is warm, affective and loyal. It looses little hair if it is in good shape, but on the other hand you have to thin it out regularly.
PHYSICAL ASPECT
Rough hair of a blue and fire color or uniform red. Sweet and dark eyes; lively expression. Pointy and sensitive ears. It keeps the tail high, but not folded over the back. It has small feet and takes little jumps instead of steps.
