AMERICAN COCKER Puppy Dogs
Even when it comes from the English Cocker Spaniel taken to America in the 1880's, it is currently and entirely differentiated breed. Its skull is more rounded and narrowed, its snout is more flattened and its hair, more abundant. This breed was officially recognized in 1930.
GENERAL Dog DESCRIPTION
The American Cocker is full of virtues; it is playful, intelligent, obedient, sweet, trustful and hard working, which makes it a very nice company dog, capable to live in the city, as long as it is allowed to exercise enough. It is mandatory to brush it daily otherwise the coat would get messy and full of knots, causing it a lot of discomfort.
PHYSICAL ASPECT of Dog
Straight or slightly curly hair, fine and short on the head, of a medium length on the back and pretty infringed on the ears, chest, abdomen and paws. Very big, rounded eyes in which you can only see iris and the pupils. Long ears placed low.
It has the tail Lind with the back or slightly over the back line. Robust body on a descendent line from the cross to the base of the tail. Deep chest, wide hips. Compact, rounded and hard feet with her in the digital spaces.
