AMERICAN & ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER
Often confused with the Pitbull, it comes from a crossing between the Terrier and the Bulldog. Very appreciated as a pet for it valorous and affable character, even when it used to be a fighting dog. The American version is taller and more corpulent.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Both of them are excellent guardian dogs. More friends of the humans than other of its same species, so it is mandatory to train it in order to stop its combative instincts. They can look really fierce, but they are happy and can adore children. Good family pets as long as the family educates them in a coherent way and is able to deal with a troublemaker dog.
PHYSICAL ASPECT
Both of them have short shiny hair and need only little grooming. Any color combination is accepted, except the white with too little quantities of other colors. Dark eyes with dark borders around the eyelid. The American reed's ears are usually surgically cut to diminish the danger of tearing during fights. Strong feet of medium size.
The bones of the American breed, are more corpulent and bigger. Both of them have a big chest and wide and prominent ribs.
